Current research focus

We are investigating the clinical impact of non-responsiveness to antiplatelet drugs (aspirin and clopidogrel) in a clinical trial (ASCET) where 1 001 patients, with symptomatic, angiographic verified coronary artery disease, are randomized to either of the two drugs. The patients are undergoing clinically and laboratory tests (incl. several analyzes of platelet function) 4 times over a follow-up period of 2 years.
